Resident Evil Village (RE8) Gameplay
First Person POV Like RE7
RE8 takes place years after the events in RE7, so it can be said that this game is a direct sequel of RE7. Similar to RE7's gameplay, you'll control the main character in a first person perspective.
Evolved, Spectacular Graphics
RE2, RE3 and DMC5 are created using the special "RE Engine". This game engine, together with the PS5 & XBOX SERIES X, will provide a huge improvement to the graphics and load time of the game. Players will get to enjoy a brand new approach to survival horror!
A Familiar Inventory System
The inventory system from previous Resident Evil games will also be returning in this game.

Story of Resident Evil 8 (Village)
Years after the tragic events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Ethan Winters has started over with his wife Mia, finally living in peace and putting the past behind them.
However, Chris Redfield, the legendary hero from previous Resident Evil games, suddenly disrupts their life, throwing a devastated Ethan into a new and twisted nightmare in search of answers.
Main Character's Name Is Ethan
The game is set years after Resident Evil 7 and Ethan Winters remains the main character - though his story arc is planned to end with this entry! The game's setting will focus on a village on a mountain.
What Happened To Chris?
Ethan and his family are living their peaceful lives until a veteran hero named "Chris Redfield" shows up before them and robs them of their peace. Chris, in this game, has no memories of the past and has a dark and evil atmosphere about him... What could have happened to him?
Setting: The "Village"
The place where the game will take place is a snow-covered Village. Resident Evil Village's Producer, Tsuyoshi Kanda, said that "This village can be considered an important character in the story."
