LAHORE (Dunya News) - The sudden death of seasoned and prolific actor and comedian Sardar Kamal has left his fans, celebrities, colleagues and more importantly, the team of Mazaq Raat in a state of grief.
IMRAN ASHRAF
Expressing his heartfelt sorrow and suffering, Mazaq Raat host Imran Ashraf said, “I am heartbroken. My heart goes out to his family.
"I have no words to describe what I feel having news of his departure from this world. I got such a splendid host after many years.”

EXAMPLE OF HUMANITY
Recalling his characteristics, Imran Ashraf said, “I give you the example of his humanity. Two weeks ago he phoned me.The battery of my phone was dead during talk. So, I could not complete the conversation, and I also forgot to ring back him.
"But he phoned every member of our team and said while weeping please get information about Imran because his phone was shut."
GREAT ACTOR AND COMEDIAN
“The country has lost a great actor and comedian. The team of Mazaq Raat, my son Rohan and I myself are deprived of great human and talented comedian.
"When I faced any trouble, he always encouraged me and said that he would not let me down," the Mazaq Raat host said.
IFTIKHAR THAKUR
Great actor and comedian Iftikhar Thakur paid tributes to Sardar Kamal in his words.
“He was one of my teachers. He always took care of his colleagues. When there was any conflict among our friends, he insisted us to reconcile.
"I am very sorry for his death. He was my favourite actor. He worked in every department of showbiz. I pray to Allah to give his family strength to bear this irreparable loss with courage. May Allah bless him with eternal peace. I request all those who worked with him and benefited from his experience to pray for him.”

Comedian Muhammad Afzal Rambo said, “My relation with Sardar Kamal was like a friend and a brother. He will always live in the hearts of people. My bond with him was from 1991. He was a great artist and a nice fellow."

Remembering prolific comedian Sardar Kamal, actor Naseem Vicky said it was hard to believe that Sardar Kamal had died.
“He was like my elder brother and mentor. I started all my significant projects with him.
"I got his advice on all important matters of life. I can’t hold my tears. I am heartbroken at the sudden demise of Sardar Kamal."

Resham called Sardar Kamal a great human being, adding when she last time met him on Mazaq Raat, he was very happy and her face too was brightened to see him.
“I did a lot of work with Sardar Kamal. I pray for him. I collaborated with him in many films and drams,” the actor said.

Mazaq Raat comedian Honey Albela said the impact of Sardar Kamal’s personality on him will remain forever.
“It is unbelievable that the man with whom we did recording two days ago is not with us now. May Allah Almighty bless him with eternal peace,” Albela said.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed condolence on the death of the artist and said Sardar Kamal ruled the hearts of people with his acting and fun. He prayed May Allah provide his family members with courage to bear this loss.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also condoled the death of Sardar Kamal. She prayed for the departed soul and his family.
