Introduction

Ulukita, the Exalted Land is an expansion to the Mediah region, located south of Altinova. Ulukita arrived on Korean Live servers on 10th August 2023, with a global release on 23rd August 2023.

Ulukita is a smaller expansion than previous land expansions, but still offers 4 new end-game monster zones and brand new items, including Ator’s Shoes.

Asparkan City and Nodes

Asparkan is the new city for the Ulukita region and located in the north of the region as you enter Ulukita. The city has a storage keeper and seperate storage space.

Unlike other regions, the nodes in Ulukita currently do not have any production nodes for materials and discovering the nodes does not give any maximum energy increase.

However, you may still want to connect the nodes to level up the node for an increase in Item Drop Rate at the new monster zones. Each node only costs 1 Contribution Point to invest in.

Silver (Church) Buff NPC

Dematur from Muzgar will give the “church buffs” in exchange for silver

※ You can also check the location of the nearest Silver Buff NPC by clicking the magnifying glass button on the left side of the minimap. (Find NPCs – Silver (Church))

Once you have completed the pre-quest, you can start the main story quest[Ulukita] Whispers in Mediah’s Wind by talking to your Black Spirit.

• Upon finishing the main story quest, you will be rewarded with the title <Janissary> and can complete a once-per-family quest “[Ulukita] Prince Bareeds’ Gift” to be awarded with the Ator’s Powerstone item.

Faces of the Fort Quest:

• The screenshots below may help you find certain NPCs to collect the 5 tokens. Unfortunately this quest could only be completed once and I missed some important NPCs you also need to talk to. I recommend using the Korean guide posted below if the screenshots below leave you missing a token. For the first token in the inven guide, you will need Flax Thread x5

Ator’s Shoes

The “Ator’s Shoes” are the Fallen God/Labreska/Dahn’s Gloves equivalent for the shoe armor slot.

There are 2 different versions of the shoes available for Damage Reduction and Evasion builds. You can also swap between the two shoes through an exchange quest.

To create the shoes, you require one of the following:

• PEN Blackstar Shoes
• or PEN Urugon’s Shoes (level 10 caphras)
• or PEN Muskan’s Shoes (level 10 caphras)

You then need to obtain the “Flame of Resonance” which can be obtained as a drop when defeating monsters in the Dark Seeker’s Retreat or Yzrahid Highlands monster zone. You can also craft Flame of Resonance by Heating (L) Embers of Resonance x100.

These embers are also available as a drop from Dark Seeker’s Retreat and Yzrahid Highlands.

Since there are 2 different types of shoes for Damage Reduction and Evasion, you can exchange between the two types by completing an exchange quest.

※ When the exchange quest is completed, the family name of the adventurer who completed the exchange quest will be engraved on the Ator’s Shoes, regardless of the family name engraved on the shoes which were originally handed over.

※ This is a quest that can be completed without any limitations on the number of times it can be completed.

Origin of Dark Hunger

You can obtain Origin of Dark Hunger and Essence of Devouring as a rare drop from monsters in any of the new Ulukita grind zones.

Both of these items can also be registered and purchased on the Central Market.

Your failstack will increase by a fixed number depending on your current failstack and must be at least 100 or higher, but lower than 300.

• For example, if your failstack is currently 132, then devouring an Origin of Dark Hunger will increase your failstack by +10, to 142.

Kuadir Fragment

Kuadir Fragments can be obtained from all monster zones in Ulukita, and are used to enhance a Crystal of Elkarr.

The Kuadir Fragments cannot be registered on the Central Market, but the upgraded Crystal of Elkarr can be registered and purchased on the Central Market.

Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope

Lafi Bedmountain’s Upgraded Telescope is a new treasure item which requires 3 rare drops to craft.

The Telescope has a unique effect that allows you to teleport to the location of an online party, platoon or guild member.

The pieces can be obtained from the Tungrad Ruins and City of the Dead grind zones in Ulukita. You can also trade 3 of the Vodkhan pieces from the Upgraded Compass treasure item for one of the Telescope pieces.

Ator’s Powerstone

Ator’s Powerstone is a new alchemy stone that is obtained when completing the Ulukita Story Questline.

Ator’s Powerstone cannot be registered on the Central Market, and cannot be equipped by Season characters.

The alchemy stone can be recharged/repaired using Mystical Spirit Powder like many other Alchemy Stones.

It can also be upgraded into a Blessed/Exalted Ator’s Powerstone for extra stats.

Kabua’s Artifact

Kabua’s Artifact is a brand new artifact with superior item effects compared to other available PVE artifacts.

Kabua’s Artifact can be registered and purchased on the Central Market, but cannot be equipped by season characters.

As well as the Artifact dropping directly from the monsters in Dark Seeker’s Retreat and Yzrahid Highlands, you can also craft the Artifact using Kabua’s Fragment x100

Kabua’s Fragments also drop from Dark Seeker’s Retreat and Yzrahid Highlands, with a higher chance of dropping than the Artifact directly. You can also buy and sell them on the central market.

New Grind Zones

There are currently 4 new end-game monster zones in the Ulukita region which all require at least 310 AP and drop brand new end-game items such as Ator’s Shoes and Kabua’s Artifact.

City of the Dead

Mechanics:

• Focus on the Tehmelun Messenger (Wizard) monster. It will start casting a skill when you first pull the pack and will have a yellow effect around it.
• If you crowd-control the Tehmelun Messenger whilst it is casting the skill, it will stop the cast and instead knock down all the monsters in the pack.
• You will also gain a temporary AP buff, so use skill and addons with down attack damage to quickly burst the monsters on the floor.

Mechanics:

• Focus the Tungrad Visionary monster until it reaches 80-90% HP. The monster will explode and its shield will break.
• You can now crowd-control the Tungrad Visionary and knock them down to deal much more damage to them.
• Defeating the Tungrad Visionary monster will stun all nearby monsters so you can easily defeat them.

Mechanics:

• In the Darkseeker’s Retreat, always watch your back.
• The Darkseekers are known to launch powerful attacks when their attacks accumulate, leaving a lingering aura of their dark energy.
• And beware, the fallen monsters of the Darkseeker’s Retreat respawn faster than those in other regions of Ulukita, ever ready to set their sights on unsuspecting adventurers.

• The “Sealed Artifact” and “Blazing Ember” will appear when you defeat the Mournful/Vengefu/Punitive Darkseekers.
• Defeat the Blazing Ember to activate the Sealed Artifact.
  
  • The Sealed Artifact disorients the surrounding Darkseekers.
    (However, the effect of the Sealed Artifact does not affect the “Corrupt” Followers summoned by the Eternal Darkseeker.)
  • The Sealed Artifact activates for about 5 min after defeating the Blazing Ember, and periodically diorients nearby monsters.
• Defeat the Blazing Ember to obtain Embers of Resonance x1.

Mechanics:

• Ancient weapons, safeguarding Yzrahid Highlands over countless ages, have been revealed.
• The largest among those, Seculion, appears to function as an ark storing the energy required for the other ones to operate.
• Some scholars suggest that they should control and utilize this formidable energy, yet there are no known attempts to experiment with it.
  
  • * Seculion has the ability to self-repair and consistently summons weapons.

Daily Grind Zone Quests are available for characters that are level 61 or higher.

Daily quests reset every day at 00:00 UTC.
